Heart-A-Rama 2019 Raises $87,458

In its 49th year, Heart-A-Rama raised $87,458 of which $78,712 will go to the American Heart Association – Wisconsin to support its life-saving programs and critical research in our communities.  The remainder of the funds will go to provide automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to county nonprofits.  If your 501c3 organization is interested in an AED and  will provide training for its use, contact us below for more information.

Heart-A-Rama is a fundraising, sketch comedy event organized by volunteers, and designed to inform, inspire, and entertain. This year’s theme was Heart-A-Rama Goes Country.  In its first 49 years, HAR has raised just over $2.9 million dollars.

One of the biggest fundraisers is the live auction each night of “The Best Seat in the House”, a decorated toilet seat with the year’s theme. Winners of this year’s seats include Festival Foods, Burbey CPA, LLC, East River Clan, Fox’s Piggly Wiggly, 1st Anderson Real Estate: Amy MacMillin and Jenny Gospodarek, Formrite, Investors Community Bank, and Pete and Chris Honzik.
