HEART-A-RAMA POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING OF 2022

Due to the increased presence of COVID-19 in Manitowoc County, the 50th anniversary show of Heart-A-Rama has been postponed until the spring of 2022 to protect the health and safety of our cast, crew, and audience. Show dates for the spring shows will be April 28-30 and May 5-7.

Heart-A-Rama brings in more than 250 patrons per night, along with many cast and crew members, so the Heart-A-Rama Leadership Team felt postponing until spring was the best way to provide a top-notch “Heart-A-Rama experience” that our audience expects. We value our community too much to put anyone at risk.

To our sponsors and guests: Please wait for further instructions and hold on to your tickets if you had already purchased them for the 2020 show. Information on ticket options will be announced prior to the show dates.

    Heart-A-Rama 2020 Show Postponement Update

As you know, Heart-A-Rama 2020 has been postponed until October due to health concerns amid the COVID-19 outbreak. This decision comes after guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

That said, we are hopeful that social distancing restrictions will be relaxed by fall so that we can all enjoy an evening of comedy, song and dance, music, food, and fundraising!

The rescheduled Heart-A-Rama 2020 performance dates are:

    • Thursday, October 22
    • Friday, October 23
    • Saturday, October 24
    • Thursday, October 29
    • Friday, October 30
    • Saturday, October 31

We will give more information on Heart-A-Rama in-person ticket sales and exchanges in the future as the CDC dictates safe social interaction.  Anyone with online tickets was already contacted.  If you have online tickets and you haven’t switched to a new date, contact us.

A heartfelt thank you to audience members, cast, and crew for your patience through all of this. One great way to help us cope with this pandemic is with a healthy heart, so let’s keep working toward that goal! YOU GOTTA HAVE HEART!

Heart-A-Rama 2020 Show Postponed Until October

It is with deep regret that we announce Heart-A-Rama 2020 has been postponed until October due to health concerns amid the COVID-19 outbreak. With Heart-A-Rama bringing in more than 250 patrons a night, this decision comes after guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on March 14 to call off events of 50 people or more to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.

Though we are sad to postpone this year’s show, the safety of our guests, cast, and crew is more paramount than any cleverly hilarious, wildly entertaining production. And though we know you’d love to see it, we’d prefer you stay healthy so you can attend future shows and continue to support this local goodwill event.

The rescheduled 2020 performance dates are:

    • Thursday, October 22
    • Friday, October 23
    • Saturday, October 24
    • Thursday, October 29
    • Friday, October 30
    • Saturday, October 31

    To our sponsors and guests:

If you’ve already purchased tickets, please hold onto them for further instructions. Tickets will be transferable to the October show date of your choice.  Heart-A-Rama will be printing new tickets for exchange in the future.

To the Heart-A-Rama cast and crew:

Rehearsals are canceled until further notice. As we plan for the October performance dates, we realize your availability and commitment may be undetermined. The show may have to be recast if there are too many actors who cleared their calendars for April show dates and now may be unavailable to perform in October. Please contact your director with immediate questions. Your concerns are important to us and we only ask for your patience during this time of uncertainty.

Until then, remember to wash your hands for 20 seconds or more, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands, disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly, practice social distancing, and stay informed.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please connect with Heart-A-Rama on Facebook or here on our website.

We value your support in this time of uncertainty. Stay safe and healthy, Heart-A-Rama family. We’ll be back soon.
